Manuel has more than 10 years of experience in SAP BW consulting and 4 years in Business Analytics leadership. He has led 2 end to end BW implementation projects, and has participated in 8 projects in development and support.He started his IT career after earning a scholarship for the BI academy from SAP, as a Junior consultant in a support area. He then participated in different support assignments where he acquired vast experience in BI, covering ETL processes including ABAP routines, BPS planning processes, APDs and Open Hubs, as well as reporting in query designer, BEx Analyzer and WAD. He has taken part in a full cycle project from requirement gathering to go live in two phases, acquiring a leader role in the middle of the project of a global implementation for 7 countries. After this he was part of the MTO-OTC team in which he led the development of new models for the new releases of the customer and solved production issues on live models.He led an evolving team in the Business Analytics space from Buenos Aires covering design and implementation of SAP BW projects, support of several live BW applications, BPC applications and solutions in DataStage / Cognos, MS BI and Spotfire. He recently coordinated the BW part of the SAP Treasury & Risk Management module implementation. As a team leader he was responsible for selecting and onboarding team members, assigning task and responsibilities, managing performance, consulting with business partners and project managers, assisting team members on technical issues, procuring and managing 3rd party resources for support and project assignments. Participated in the IT leadership team of the Buenos Aires service center and the global Business Analytics leadership team.In his current assignment at Novartis in Basel, Switzerland he is participating in the P2P stream of a KPI project creating dataflows and reports from invoice management solutions in ECC.
