Lead production department in the stamping shop. Assuring all production deliverables, production program in order to supply stamped parts to costumer according to requirements, optimizing production schedule and inventory within the supply chain from the incoming material to final delivered parts (JIT). Complying with engineering specifications and customer requirements, assuring surface and dimensional quality on the stamped parts delivered to costumer supported by a whole ISO 9000 certified quality operating system. Lead and supervise a group of junior and senior engineers, create and follow development plans to each member in order to grow their hard and soft skills supported by different tools such as formal training, socialization, experiences, hands on training, couching, mentoring, etc.

Apply welding (Spot, MIG, Projection, Arc Drawn for nuts and studs, etc), hem adhesive and sealing bonding standards in order to assure quality at the joining systems in the Body Shop. Develop and lead strategies in order to reduce or eliminate weld sparks on the spot welding process. Coordinate destructive (tear down) and non-destructive (ultrasound, pry bar, and other visual inspections) welding tests. Six sigma methodology in order to improve welding and sealing process variations. Coordinate and validate welding equipment adjustments and in floor support for troubleshooting and/or improvement on the joining systems at Body Shop.

Apply control standards and specifications to equipment, managing automation projects at the body shop, lead and develop strategies in order to improve MTTR, MTBF, equipment utilization and other maintenance metrics. Troubleshoot complex production automation issues that may span multiple systems, lead and develop strategies for continuous development of Automation Technicians and Junior Automation Engineers.

Maintain manufacturing equipment and facilities to maximize Throughput. Apply Ford Production System Standars to ensure product quality, personnel safety and production volume. Lead and Supervise interdisciplinary work groups of technicians (automation technicias, dimensional control technicians, welding technicians and production technicians).
