Responsible for tracking the percentage and creating expense reports of sustainable food purchased by Skidmore Dining Services as defined by Skidmore’s Sustainability Plan by recording invoices of all food purchased from the 2015-2016 academic year.Designed and carried out an independent research project to help the school achieve its goal of 25% sustainable food in Dining Services by 2025 by curating and developing a resource for Dining Services that identified seasonal produce that could be purchased within 250 miles of the school.

Participated in and organized a campaign against glyphosate. Helped give a presentation of its effects in front of 150 people and assisted in hosting community meetings to mobilize people against its use. Wrote challenges for Project Green Challenge (PGC), a 30-day environmental competition that helps participants to transition their lifestyles from conventional to sustainable. Helped manage the Conscious Kitchen, a program created by Turning Green that gets fresh, local, organic, seasonal, and non-GMO breakfasts and lunches to students at underserved schools in the Sausalito area to feed children nutritious food, support local agriculture, improve school behavior and focus, and reduce food waste.Edited and published the Conscious Kitchen Cookbook, a collection of recipes curated by past students and participants of PGC over a few years intended to provide people with the toolset to cook conscientiously and healthily without breaking their budget.
