People Generalist
CurrentResponsible for day to day administration of policies and programs relative to staffing, compensation and benefits, training, employee relations, compliance and other administrative tasks.• Provide support to line management in the resolution of sensitive employee-related matters, provide oversight to the maintenance of employee records. • Support the department with employee-related matters including but not limited to compliance with c policies and procedures, conducting thorough and neutral evaluations and investigations.• Responsible for recommending appropriate actions such as progressive discipline, suspension, or termination.• Provide answers to questions regarding LOA policy, interpretation of FMLA and ADA.• Provide general answers to employee questions regarding medical, dental, prescription, vision, life, disability, HSA, FSA, 401K.• Maintain and process all new hire paperwork using HRIS Paycom and collect appropriate new hire documentation.• Process leave documentation for exempt, non-exempt, and union employees, and assist employees with leave information (FMLA/ADA/PDL/CFRA/PFL/State Disability).•Help employees with issues such as vacation/sick personal time availability. •Process time sheets, time off request, and New Hire/Health Benefits Packets.•Provide service to current employees with general questions.•Responsible for update filing of current employee files.•Receptionist relief during lunch time, vacation and sick days.
