After receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts from Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador in Venezuela, I relocated to the U.S. to continue pursuing my passion. After 3 years in the culinary field, I advanced from line cook to Executive Sous Chef for the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company. During those 3 years, I gained experience in leading a team, cost-savings, inventory management and budget planning. While my experience in the kitchen was invaluable, I knew it was time to explore other opportunities. It was at this time I decided to pursue another career-path that interested me - Web Development.I graduated from Ironhack's Part-Time Web Development Bootcamp in 2017, after which I knew I had found my calling. Shortly after graduation, I took a full-time position with Ironhack to be a Teacher's Assistant. During this time, I was able to continue learning and enhancing my skills while sharing my knowledge and passion with Ironhack students.I currently work for Nielsen as a UI Software Engineer.
