In this position, I had the opportunity to participate on the Tenaris new hot rolling mill at Tenaris Bay City TX. I had the responsibility of supervising the installation of all the Siemens Automation Devices in the PQF (piercing quality finishing) area. After the commisioning and startup, I was assigned to the Billet Preparation area to carry out new improvements on the safety PLC’s (TIA PORTAL). I’m currently working in the WIP area developing new improvements systems for 2 bay Bay Cranes and 5 Transfer cranes (S7 classic and SIMOTION applications) and supporting different areas as heat treatment, finishing , Tenaris Rods at Conroe TX and Midland TX (TIA PORTAL), Tenaris McCarty threading facilities (Studio5000, GuardLogix).

In this position, I had the opportunity to Develop and commissioning automation systems for energy saving projects as Cogeneration with capstone turbines, hot water and steam generation with at Companies such as Nestle, PepsiCo, Pet Star, and Unilever, most of these projects were carried out working on a personalized solution for each application, which means the automation application has to be designed according to the client hardware and software philosophy using different platforms as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron and Delta. Also during the design I have supported with the calculation and selection of different measuring instruments working with Rosemount and IFM Efector as partners, calculation and selection of hydraulic pumps with Grundfos as a partner.

In this position, I had the responsibility of developing. Install and start up the Electrical & Automation systems for Hot Water and Energy Generation projects, as my responsibility I had the opportunity to design, and coordinate the installation of MCC , coordinate and supervise hydraulic and pneumatic installations, calculate and select hydraulic pumps for different applications on the tourism and food and beverage industries, also I had the responsibility to supervise the performance and continuous improvement of the different hot water heaters and steam generators of different brands such as RBI, Cleaver brooks, Smith and burners, planning the periodic preventive and predictive maintenance.

On this position i had the opportunity to support on the start up of the general services system at PEMEX Irapuato, upgrading the remote I/O control from DH+ network to ethernet IP network on allen bradley control system.
