My position as a bed-head upholsterer at Crown Posture Bedding was a truly unique experience. Tasks entrusted to me included learning the back work of constructing and building bed-heads, mattresses, and bases. This also included coordinating the building the bed heads from scratch and allocating appropriate fabrics through to the very end. Moreover, I was in charge of conducting and assigning the number of orders placed each morning, which would then be sent through to popular providers, such as Forty Winks. Due to the factory environment I was working in, some health concerns arose and as a result, I had to resign.

As a Customer Service officer, I liaised with customers attempting to buy tickets for the events held and also assisted customers who had general inquiries that needed to be handled. My job included managing the organisation of the paperwork involved with the tickets sold on the day, this also included making such a report in excel to reflect the work that was done. In my role, I was able to satisfy all customer needs and requirements and ensure that their experience with me, was that of a positive one. Due to there being no more work, I wasn’t able to continue working there.

As a Customer Service Representative during the summer holidays, I was entrusted to handle all sales made and to make sure the customers’ needs were met in the store, as well as over the phone. I also handled unpacking stock and signing for all deliveries made to our store. As a person who has had experience in a convenience store around the busiest time of the year, I have been able to fulfill the needs of all customers that visited our store. Due to all positions being filled, I wasn’t offered a permanent position at the store as my contract had ended.
