As a passionate human rights advocate and experienced legal professional, I have had the privilege of representing Afghanistan on various international platforms, including serving as a coach and team leader for prestigious moot court competitions. My leadership roles in the national rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and the Vis Moot have honed my skills in legal research, advocacy, and team management, equipping me to address complex international law issues effectively. My work extends beyond the courtroom. As a Legal Officer in the Gender-Based Violence (GBV) field with International Medical Corps, I have provided psychosocial support to survivors, advocating for their rights while contributing to policy development and capacity building. Additionally, I’ve led workshops on women’s rights, child protection, and GBV, empowering communities with critical knowledge and fostering resilience during challenging times. With a commitment to advancing human rights and gender equality, I’ve also dedicated my efforts to working with survivors of violence, focusing on their psychological well-being and mental health. These experiences have not only deepened my understanding of the intersection of law and social justice but have also fueled my drive to create lasting impact through advocacy, education, and support.I look forward to continuing my journey, contributing to legal and humanitarian fields, and working with diverse communities to promote justice, equality, and human dignity.
