Handle all aspects of the Staples Global Infrastructure (Networks) for the Sales and Distribution Offices around the US.

Network Technical Analyst Globally - US Specific.1. Daily support of all technical equipment in local warehouses and sales offices. Basic hardware installation and configuration of Cisco routers and Layer 2/3 switches Cisco and Motorola RF networks Liebert UPS’ Understanding of conveyor systems HP, Zebra, Printronix, and Kyocera printers Thin client terminals2. Daily Support of corporate end users for all problems entered into the Call Logging System (ServiceNow), including determining priority and adhering to Service Level Agreements.3. Schedule repair, upgrading, and preventive maintenance of all personal computers, laptops and printers.4. Work closely with 3rd party vendors for requesting quotes, writing purchase orders, and managing their work for projects.5. Relocation and networking of all personal computers, laptops, and printers. 6. Assist in small to large project work for projects initiated by both Staples as well as 3rd party vendors7. Maintains all relevant infrastructure documentation. Visio, Excel, and AutoCAD used in documentation

All Information Technology functions. • Duties include being the sole Network Specialist. Handle all Network, Servers, DNS and DHCP, Desktop, Firewall/VPN, Blackberrys, Switches, Routers, Cable Modems, Backups, Email (Exchange and others), Printers, Hardware and Software issues. • Administer the Network and Application User names and passwords, plus security groups.• Keep all computers up to date with operating systems and all applications, plus deploy new laptops and workstations.
