As the Service Manager for Major Projects at Coastal Partners I lead a team of Engineers, Construction, Project and Contract Managers and undertake the role of Senior Programme Manager and Project Executive for the Southsea Coastal Scheme and North Portsea Island Coastal Scheme on behalf of Portsmouth City Council.I am the commercial and contracts lead for Coastal Partners and as an NEC contract specialist and ECC Accredited Project Manager I have experience of managing a wide range of multi-million pound contracts and have an in depth knowledge of the NEC3/4 suite of contracts.I manage the 'Coastal, Flood and Infrastructure Professional Services Framework' on behalf of the Southern Coastal Group. The framework is available to all contracting authorities in England. I am an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical background since graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a MEng Degree in Civil Engineering.I have delivered a number of capital civil engineering and coastal management projects and have extensive experience of working with the NEC3/4 suite of contracts, public sector procurement, undertaking project appraisal, and delivering engineering design and construction projects. I am a member of the ICE South Maritime Committee and when not in work I am an ice hockey referee for Ice Hockey UK.
