About Marc Cyr

Marc Cyr is an experienced leader, manager, coach, mentor, and business professional with a proven record of achieving success and results. A graduate of Asper School of Business, majoring in Marketing and Human Resources, Marc started his professional career with Royal LePage Top Producers Real Estate. Marc enjoyed two years of excellent performance with Royal LePage, receiving a Sales Achievement Award in his first full year of sales performance. After a few years of real estate success, Marc decided to accept the role of Commercial Sales Manager with Stalwart Appliances by Design and Stalwart Machinery. Marc used his communication, relationship, marketing, organization, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to excel as Department Manager for Stalwart Appliances by Design. Marc's positive attitude, results, networking and relationship building skills led him to be offered the position of District Sales Manager for Electrolux Major Appliances. As District Manager with Electrolux Major Appliances, Marc used all of his knowledge, skills, and abilities to grow the Electrolux family of brands throughout Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Northwestern Ontario. Territory growth was largely the result of creating strong, trusting relationships with his clients and peers. Due to a restructuring, Electrolux offered to transfer Marc to British Columbia in 2018 which he had to decline due to family obligations. Between 2011 - 2018, Marc also worked as a part-time Consultant and Strategic Advisor for Deserve It Incorporated. As a Consultant and Strategic Advisor, Marc helped businesses identify and achieve strategic business objectives. In addition, Marc facilitated the Accountability Group called The Deserve It Alliance; A group of business professionals that met weekly to discuss challenges, opportunities, and best practices. After declining the transfer from Electrolux, Marc became the Sales Manager for Retail Management Systems where he lead a diverse team of professionals in the sales, service, and support of retail technology across North America. Marc is a seasoned leader, manager, mentor, trainer, friend, husband, and father of three. He now represents the Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses (CFIB) as a District Manager. As a proud representative of the CFIB, Marc is a trusted professional who contributes to the overall strength and longevity of the CFIB.
