Currently enrolled in a rigorous program obtaining my Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate. I read "2030: How Today's Biggest Trends Will Collide and Reshape the Future of Everything" by Mauro F. Guillen and was inspired by the tremendous need for data analysts in every industry. It was a passion ignited, while naturally investigating the world around me displaying the characteristics of a natural data detective. Asking the right questions and considering the data source leading me to the book, processing and analyzing from reading, sharing my results with my search algorithm and acting upon it by acquiring the necessary certificationsI have worn many hats in my professional career. Most recently, I am Team Lead at DHL where I am responsible for organizing and managing up to twenty people daily, ensuring efficient production, as well as uphold safety standards. I organize and investigate data using Excel, and track performance through Power BI Dashboards. It is a fast-paced environment that requires quick-thinking, communication, teamwork, and at times plenty of elbow grease, so to speak. Before then I was an award winning, touring, and published Poet. My favorite parts were the interpersonal strengthening moments both on and off stage, interacting with the crowd and other attendees. As a poet and sometimes presenter, like when I was invited by the Wichita Art Museum to give a Japanese style "Ted Talk" like presentation, my experience with visualizations and communication will translate beautifully. I thrive in situations demanding leadership, communication, teamwork, and investigative skills. I aspire to become a data analyst and continue to evolve my skills in the industry. Learning the scope of data, I realized how important it is for the population to evolve with our data needs and instantly felt a responsibility to become a part of the solution. I want my work to improve life, society, the world.
