Marc graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1989. He passed both the New York and New Jersey bar exams in his initial attempts getting admitted to New Jersey Bar in 1989 and the New York Bar in 1990. He's also admitted to the U.S. District Courts in NJ, the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He started his legal career as associate trial counsel for Fireman's Fund Ins. Co. before going to work at Tell Cheser & Breitbart, then a renowned first-party insurance litigation firm. Between 1994 and 2000, Marc was a member and lead trial counsel at Beckman & Millman, later Beckman, Millman & Sanders. In 2000, Marc embarked on a solo career under the name Law Office of Marc Gottlieb growing his securities and family law practices. In August 2011, he joined Sanders Ortoli Vaughn-Flam Rosenstadt, LLP, a boutique law firm located on Madison Avenue in mid-town and became a member of the firm in or about January 2013. Recently he was invited to become a named partner of the firm which is expected to change its name to Sanders Ortoli Gottlieb Rosenstadt. Marc is a seasoned trial attorney practicing in various areas of law including complex corporate and securities litigation and compliance (both criminal and civil); intellectual property, labor and contract litigation, to name a few. He also has a long-standing practice in family law handling complex matrimonial and child custody matters. Marc has been admitted to practice law, pro hac vice in Florida, California, Virginia, Texas, Delaware and Nevada.
