With the departure of the IT Director in Oct 2013 I assumed; • Responsibility for enterprise technology hardware and software licensing contracts• Managed annual software budget of $1.6m• Managed annual capital budget $1.5m• Negotiated enterprise agreements including Dell, Microsoft, Adobe, Autodesk, Dassault, etc• Managed procurement of all software and desktop & infrastructure hardware• Implemented desktop hardware 3 year lifecycle refresh plan• Responsible for negotiating and procuring enterprise infrastructure• Stabilized hardware/software asset management & utilization.• “Right sized” HW/SW purchasing and renewals to reduce overall expense by 20%• Defined desktop architectural standards for design tools & hardware• Selected, purchased & implemented Stratasys 3D printing technology improve prototype design.• Transitioned Lync Enterprise Voice from a SIP provider to a PRI• Piloted cloud rendering using Microsoft Azure and Amazon EC2, ultimately choosing EC2
