After graduation at the Utrecht University, I started as a general practitioner for large and companion animal medicine at Dierenkliniek De Langstraat. My area of expertise has always been orthopedic surgery for companion animals and veterinary medicine for exotic animals, especially reptiles and birds.Gradually my function shifted to a management role for Dierenkliniek de Langstraat (veterinary clinic for companian animals) and Dier-N-Artsen (large animal clinic).After Dier-N-artsen and Dierenkliniek De Langstraat parted ways, we founded the franchise company Vets & Pets Facilities, together with Dierenkliniek Tussen Mark en Amer.In 2016 we joined the Evidensia Group. I Started to work as a managing director of the Vets & Pets veterinary clinics and the V&P Franchise organisation. I also worked for the Evidensia group to further develop and expand the organisation (M&A) until 2018.In 2017 professional position changed to Clinical Director for Dierenklinieken Brabant, a group of Evidensia Veterinary Clinics in Waalwijk, Tilburg and ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Next to my work as a Director I still work as a Vet for exotic animals at the Evidensia DierenZiekenhuis Hart van Brabant.
