Refined existing systems to produce an efficient and easily understandable cost and workhour forecasting system, building both labour and non-labour costs into a comprehensive model to give an up to date forecast on the status of this part of the project. Produced client cost report containing detail information on change, actual expenditures and manning levels.Produced company reports giving detail on G&A, and Margin. Ensured that actual costs billed and paid on the project were fully reconciled.

Client Cost Engineer for the FEED of the offshore portion of an LNG project to be built in Iran by a joint venture of Shell and Repsol. Initially based in Paris controlling the contractor’s effort together with setting up the Cost Control Procedures, reporting requirements, Work breakdown structure and Risk analysis on a project comprising of 6 platforms before re-location to the EPC contractors premises. This project postponed indefinitely due to political uncertainty.

Team leader and Lead Cost Engineer for the engineering portion of the ACG (Azerbaijan) Offshore development. Team supervised comprises 4 cost engineers in London & 3 more in Baku. Duties involved preparing overall client cost reports, cash forecasts, value of work done & final forecast reports for this extremely large project.

Responsible for the overall cost control function for 3 new buildings and associated infrastructure in a major pharmaceutical development. Duties include setting up all project procedures, including integrated change management, and software systems for the financial control of the project, and then following them through all phases of the project from concept to the end of construction. This includes liaison with various engineering and construction contractors to ensure compliance with Merck requirements, performing forecast reviews based on progress, manning etc. Involved in Risk management.
