The Digital Services Factory (DSF) is a new department established within Technology at Vanderlande Industries. The DSF develops data-driven digital services – such as a customer service portal, performance reporting and predictive maintenance – in close cooperation with the Vanderlande businesses and its customers. The department consists of several agile product development teams.I am directly responsible for all Operational Awareness activities within the Digital Services Department, leading an international group of approximately thirty data engineers, developers, product owners and a project lead. Our main task is supporting the three Vanderlande business domains Airports, Parcel & Warehouse through providing various digital services. I have successfully integrated separate teams and turned the group into a high performance DevOps unit. All of the year goals have been (more than) achieved. Core activities: people management, stakeholder management, teambuilding (own team & MT), coaching. Vanderlande is the global leader for value-added logistic process automation at airports and in the parcel market, as well as a leading supplier of process automation solutions for warehouses.

Manage the Forcare (a Philips Company) R&D team. Lead daily operations of teams in three countries (20 professionals SAFe fully in place). Coach, set targets, improve cooperation within the teams and with the other departments. Empower all colleagues to reach both individual and collective goals. Optimize processes. Progress calls (personal development plans, MYR, YER), recruitment, dismissal procedures. Member of the Operational MT.
