Current-Conduct workplace accident, injury and vehicle incident investigations that lead to a safer work environment.-Spearhead the Corporate Safety Management Program for over 400 employees and over 600 temporary workers.-Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures as well as with all local, state and federal existing and proposed standards and regulations.-Monitor and evaluate health and safety risks and hazards.-Provide leadership, consultation and guidance to management and employees on how to minimize and eliminate risks and hazards. -Create and present safety incident data to management which include statistics on injuries, general liability incidents, vehicle accidents, near misses, safety trends, preventative measures, and lost time/return to work initiatives.-Develop policies and procedures to ensure safety regulations and protocols are followed. -Perform safety and compliance inspections as part of our work comp reduction initiative.-Conduct new-hire safety and security training as well as Hazardous Materials training to more than 600 employees and encourage safe work practices.-Manage and conduct re-training as required for both regulations and company standards.-Train and certify all CDL HazMat drivers and ensure full compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.-Analyze Industrial Hygiene Noise and Air Samplings to verify production facilities are within the safe permissible exposure limits.-Maintain all OSHA 300, 300A and 301 reporting logs and required documentation.-Coordinate OSHA required hearing conservation audiometric testing and analyze results.-Serve as central point of contact for all law enforcement and first responder situations.-Plan and implement emergency fire evacuations drills for multiple locations-Create weekly safety meetings for warehouse and chemical production facilities.-Present corporate franchise safety and compliance training.-Facilitate data in our SafetyPlusWeb incident and training tracking software.
