I am an executive leader with an entrepreneurial mindset. Success is demonstrated by progressively advancing responsibilities that define my career path. I serve as a driver using experiences in strategic planning, prototyping new initiatives, and generating new partnerships that achieve organizational effectiveness. My value is in optimizing the strengths and overcoming the limitations in organizations with unique personalities that are on the threshold of transformational growth. As a trained creative thinker, I reframe challenges and produce unique results. Utilizing innovation strategies such as design thinking, ideation, and systems thinking I optimize opportunities and successfully navigate challenges. I believe every organization can be entrepreneurial and perform with the courage of a start-up enterprise. My approach is to leverage creative and intellectual capital to cultivate new capacities resulting in a core of sustainable innovation through the center of the organization. My leadership style utilizes a critique method like those used in design studios. I see the synergy of people, resources, operations, and technology as a creative medium to be combined and reimagined, offering not just variations on one solution but a diverse set of original and surprising possibilities. Through inclusive leadership and open collaboration, I build internal processes that self-generate original solutions, maximize emerging opportunities, and diversify the measure of success. Diversity is central to my thinking. Sameness stills progress. Accordingly, the diversity of people, cultures, and identities merge with expanding options in materials, tools, and technology to create the authentic “new”. This dynamic generates new pathways of thinking, reframes strategies, and reimagines relationships with partners. Ultimately, diversity in its many forms is the very engine that drives creativity and fuels professional and social transformation. My desire is not to duplicate existing expertise within an organization. My value to the leadership team is not to simply pursue the right solution, but more importantly, to ask the right questions. My use of creativity and innovation strategies challenge assumptions while offering multiple new pathways of reframing future success. This synergy of strategies results in a new culture powered by creativity but propelled into a new practice and consciousness of innovation.
