I have strong operations professional skilled in program coordinating, event planning, technology operations, and customer service. Well-qualified, reliable, and professional, I am seeking an entry level, long-term Environmental Manager position where I can use my 200 hours of environmental training certifications, sustainable lifestyle, and biology and nutrition education, as well as extensive in the field job experience. I am self motivated, extensively qualified, and have the ability to adapt and learn quickly. As a nutritionist and environmental community resource, I serve as a fruit, vegetable, & food product counselor for communities seeking to make changes for the better through their health and nutrition.For the past 9 years, I have been embodying the necessary characteristics of discipline to create the conditions I desire, so that I can be of use to my community. After graduating from Spelman, I decided to pursue community work for 2 years with City Year Chicago. Here I learned what it meant to be the change you wish to see in the world. I knew I had to continue my education to gain access to positions in which this change will come, so I spent time at LMU, where I saw the agricultural landscapes of our country. While working with the University of Chicago, I worked one-on-one with crucial research animals and established my desire to make an impact on my community's well being through holistic health, diet education, and communication.
