Assists the research coordinator in several matters as they pertain to ongoing studies related to exercise and Cancer. This includes recruitment of participants from both in person presentations, as well as following up on referrals from the oncology care team. With assistance from the on site Exercise Physiologist, conduct appropriate Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP) assessments and baseline testing. Additionally, work one-on-one with participants as they work through guided fitness regimens. This includes changing programming to accommodate any physical disabilities, cancer related fatigue, and other obstacles. Attend webinars with participants from all over the country to assist in promoting an open environment to share personal experiences. This includes running breakout rooms with prompted questions to stimulate community development amongst the participants.
