Electronic Technicians are responsible for electronic equipment used to send and receive messages, detect enemy planes and ships, and determine target distance. They must maintain, repair, calibrate, tune, and adjust all electronic equipment used for communications, detection and tracking, recognition and identification, navigation, and electronic countermeasures.First class petty officers clearly communicate standards to the sailors they lead, while consistently keeping the chain of command informed. They also are developing experts that demand consistent procedural compliance from themselves and the sailors they lead.

• Maintain asset/inventory accuracy for warehoused materials• Ensure asset database is updated accurately through Remedy for assets in inventory, issued/deployed, and assessed• Manage physical inventories, location surveys, and perform research and reconciliation to correct accountability record imbalances and prevent denials• Identify repetitive processing errors and help resolve issues/problems in supply system work processes• Perform causative research for inventory adjustments• Coordinate receipts, storage, and asset disposal with Installation Support Activities• Coordinate (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, cyclic, controlled item, and other TypePhysical Inventory Code) inventories• Assist Government Team Leads in purchasing, including data calls, management inquiries, reporting and expansion/refinement of the Asset Management System• Manage the physical inventory control program services that maintain integrity in mission material asset balances in accordance with DOD, DLA, and other Standard Government and Commercial Asset Management Practices• Supervise Supply Technicians who inspect items for correct quantities and damage in shipment, work with inventory specialists to correct item stock numbers and identification codes, and conduct physical counts of inventory items.

• Directs all phases of lifecycle management operations including the creation of documents and detection of vital business processes for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD). • Operates as Team Lead to confirm the physical inventory is in alignment with SECNAVINST regulations. • Supported the activities of the Plant Property Manager while developing instructions encompassing Plant, Property, and Equipment policies, Visio flow diagrams, and SOP's.

Independently perform routine, preventive and emergency maintenance tasks in an expeditious manner. These tasks involve troubleshooting and repair of digital computers, video processors, tape units, key sets, buffers, digital display equipment, and data related equipment. Effectively communicate complex processes in easy to understand terms for end users.

Perform electronic, mechanical and component level repair of printed circuit boards, sub-assemblies. Troubleshoot, repair and test failed units and parts at the modular and component level. Provide technical assistance to the Quality assurance team. Meet repair team goals for customer satisfaction, quality, and production.
