Served as an archaeological field technician monitoring construction site, conducting pedestrian field surveys, and preparing California DPR forms within southern California.Stagecoach Survey Lucerne Valley, CA.Opportunistic survey of ~1600 acres near Hwy 247 following 20-30m transects. Historic and prehistoricresources were plotted on collector using line, polygon, and point features. Prehistoric resources included possible trails stone tools and one metate; historic resources consisted of can scatters, glass bottles, roads, and buildings. Collaborated with bomb technician to identify bomb fragments from previous bomb testing. Following the survey, completed primary site records for all isolates.Parkway Village Survey Lancaster, CA.Opportunistic survey of ~430 acres near Sierra Hwy following 20-30m transects. Survey was completed using collector to mark down points and polygons for all historic resources collected consisting mostly of can scatters, wellheads, glass bottles, and building foundations.VR-1 Ventura River Levee improvement Project Ventura, CA.Monitored Borings 1-20, which were part of geotechnical testing for proposed improvement of Ventura River levee. Observed daily drilling activities including using an 8-inch auger with split core that went down about 30-50 feet below the surface. Coordinated with drilling crew, geologist, and Native monitor regarding different Boring locations and potential for culturally significant archaeological or historic artifacts, sites etc. Completed daily monitoring logs of all drilling activities and findings if any.

Worked as a field technician monitoring various construction projects including screening of archaeological material during field excavation including completion of photo and monitoring logs.Major ProjectsThacher School Master Plan, CUP Tech Rep, Ojai, CA.Performed continuous and spot check monitoring for future social science building at Thacher High School.Construction activities consisted of excavation of footing for southeastern and northern portions of the site. Footings were generally excavated to a depth of 29 inches below the surface.CA-SBA-51, UCSB Edible Campus Student Farm, Goleta, CA.Continuously monitored Sections A and B during ground disturbance activities for site CA-SBA-5 (avillage/habitation site including human remains, midden equipment, and lithic debris). Screened all soil from Section A using a ¼ inch screen, which would be limited to a 20 ft irrigation line, 13 fence posts, andgreenhouse curb footing. Updated daily monitoring forms, cultural discovery forms, and photo logs daily.Made notes of all screened material including lithic debitage, marine shell, glass or ceramic pieces, and noted location of all screened material. Coordinated with crew involving all screening and monitoring activities.Transportation Plan for Plains All American Pipeline, Angeles National Forest, LA County, CA.Monitored all vehicles including any equipment shuttled in using a flatbed or lowboy trailer from the unnamed access road to the Old Ridge Road. Completed daily vehicle logs for Anomalies 117 and 122 to track all vehicles entering and leaving Old Ridge Road. Communicated with construction crew on acceptable speed limit and avoiding unloading heavy equipment to reduce impact to historic road.

Processed, cleaned, and stored artifacts from different field projects and assisted with updating information for artifact collection. Assisted with basic laboratory analysis for cataloging different artifacts.
