I started Aflac for a change, wanted to deal directly in sales and marketing as well as fulfilling my need to be helpful to others. I love the fact we have a product I can stand behind one hundred percent. The challenge of how many no's can I turn into a yes fills a sense of accomplishment.

As a lead teller I was able to help members with their daily transactions of cash deposits, withdrawals and transfers. Other duties were handling the purchase of money orders, bank checks, temporary checks, and gift cards. After three years I then moved into the head teller position and taking over added duties of managing the main vault, assisting with the daily balancing of the ATM, doing the weekly cash order for the branch and the ATM. Also, the daily supervising of the tellers and opening and closing of the branch. Other duties were to achieve the monthly sales goals by cross selling products that are available to our members and by using various current running promotions as well as, building member relations. I wills say that was one of my favorite things, I like a challenge, always aimed for above and beyond what was required.
