My role is to support CeLatam with key insights and data production, as well as guide to research to inform key decisions. Beyond writing articles published in our website, and supporting the translation of courses to Portuguese, the main achievement we had since I started at the position was the completion of a research, in coordination with three teams of researchers, about Latin America's Web3 opportunities regarding Stablecoins, Real World Assets, and Regenerative Finance. The research was presented at DevCon in Thailand for key stakeholders of the web3 ecosystem, and the content is being used to inform the creation of a Blended Finance product for impact capital allocation.

My primary responsibility involves coordinating with other advisors to assist teams at the joint office between UNESCO and Transcriativa. Our goal is to bridge the gap between the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and entrepreneurship in Brazil. This is achieved by providing consultancy hours to both non-profit and for-profit Brazilian initiatives. Within my role I supported initiatives such as AgroForestDAO and Ekonavi, which acts in the intercession of Finance and Agroforestry. The first provides global coordination among agroforest enthusiasts and the second rewards permaculture and agroforestry enthusiasts with tokens (with financial value) for their proof of continuity.

As an advisor, I supported the project to create financial and institutional sustainability by providing key advice for governance, fundraising, and networking. My main contribution was helping the team understand the dynamics of how donors select projects to fund, and to help the team locate themselves within Web3 positions in different organizations.

The project was created to support the onboarding of high school students from public schools to Web3. The certification of the courses was on-chain by the time and in less than one year we reached over 30k NFTs minted as certificates. Then the project grew to a team that spread the project through 5 Brazilian States. The project was then invited by the Board of Directors of SUAPE Port Authority (one of the largest harbors in the country) to support them to integrate decarbonization with social development.

As a grants manager, I was in charge of the grant processes for some of the GM clients, including Giveth, Upe, Ekonavi, and DeTrash, for one year. I also supported other clients, such as Treegens. It was an amazing opportunity to support valuable projects for the Web3 ecosystem. As my responsibilities as a Researcher on Celatam increased, I needed to reduce my hours to a minimum. Since the GM GM was shrinking, that was the best opportunity to leave. After eleven months of working together, our team achieved $3Mi USD in funds to onchain public goods.

Zebra Regen House is an incubator supported by Polygon0x (the third-largest blockchain protocol) and the Portuguese Government, aimed at incubating startups operating at the crossroads of ClimateTech, Finance, and blockchain technology. As the Regenerative Finance (ReFi) Lead, I undertake consultancy work and spearhead the development of a ReFi Tech Stack. This initiative is geared towards assisting startups in accessing optimal tools for calculating carbon emissions, capture, and compensation. Additionally, as part of my personal mission, I support founders to escape what we call the carbon tunnel vision.

As a member of the Core Team at ReFi DAO, I played a pivotal role in facilitating the transition from ReFi Spring to ReFi DAO, along with establishing a new global network of ReFi Nodes in strategic cities worldwide. This position was an extension of my previous role as a co-founder of ReFi Spring. My primary contribution was coordinating teams of startup founders across 18 countries to initiate innovation hubs dedicated to Regenerative Finance. The initiative garnered significant success, attracting support from Celo Network, a startup (accelerated by the World Food Programme) committed to leveraging blockchain technology for the advancement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Throughout the initial phase of development, assessment, and enhancement, I was in Europe, and while I was satisfied with observing the results of the work I was also worried that my efforts were most needed in Brazil. So, together with the Core Team, I decided to relocate to Brazil to expedite the growth of the Regenerative Finance ecosystem by providing support to regenerative startups (those focused on planet regeneration as part of their business model) and non -profit initiatives seeking access to credit, technology, and the broader global ecosystem of opportunities.

Building welcome and onboarding structures to enable organizers around the world to hold in-person and online ReFi events. Our mission is to close the gap between web3 and climate activism by providing tools to empower the regeneration of our planet and the fight against climate change.

In my role as a Research Officer, my primary focus was providing strategic analysis at the intersection of Web3, Social Development, and traditional impact organizations. Collaborating with major global entities on issues such as supply chain decarbonization and international development within intricate scenarios was particularly interesting.

Common Stack, a prominent organization dedicated to constructing governance models and incentive programs for blockchain-native organizations, initiated a global campaign to disseminate knowledge about Token Engineering. In Brazil, we had two groups with distinct content, and I had the privilege of being the host of one. Apart from delving into Token Engineering and its mechanisms, we also explored its potential in establishing financial sustainability for initiatives with regenerative goals, such as social impact and agents of the bioeconomy. The course was an Intro to prepare people to join the full course.

For a year, I authored articles on the impact of Web3 on society, finance, and the environment. During my time as a writer for Prensa, I published the first two articles about ReFi in Portuguese.
