Primary responsibilities include performance and fund analytics, oversight of fund implementation with regards to daily rebalances, and developing the infrastructure capable of meeting the needs of clients internal and external to Russell.An example is the development and implementation of the Enhanced Portfolio Implementation (EPI) strategy. Reduction in the turnover of the managers’ stock exposures results in a more efficient and cost effective implementation without degradation to the fund’s alpha potential. Transaction, brokerage, and custody costs are minimized and turnover lowered, benefiting Russell and its shareholders. Continuous efforts in building platforms that support Russell's Direct Investments - separate accounts, sub-advisory relationships, EPI and select exposure/active risk overlay mandates - are at the forefront.
