Facilitates operational performance for SPRH and other facilities by interacting with the CEO and system operations finance to: • Drive process to resolve financial performance issues• Serve as a resource for implementation of operational goals• Serves as an intermediary for addressing and implementing system expectations as it primary pertains to financial issues• Provide support to department managers, through educations, training, financial tools and guidelines• Resolve financial issues through ongoing monitoring and assessment• Coordinates the operating budget process for the organizations• Responsible for assuring all accounting and finance reports are completed accurately and appropriately including GL, budgeting, third party reimbursement, management and various reporting• This position is required to communicate to all levels regarding financial and operations management issues. This includes building a trusting working relationship with executives, board members, department directors, physicians, reimbursement specialist, auditors etc. • This position supervises Health Information Department, Admissions Department, Staff accountant and payroll clerk• Member of the SPRH Executive management • As SPRH Executive Management follows Standards of Performance, Code of Conduct and new initiative set by SPRH executive management and/or Regional Health Leadership and • Executive Management call required.

Responsible for the accounting of LookoutMemorial Hospital Campus (Spearfish Regional Hospital), which included the hospital, clinic, hospice Program and home health agency.
