As the Head of VUMA Life, I am responsible for the largest business unit in Guardrisk Life. I'm responsible for all client-facing elements of the business unit, namely operational matters, financial performance including new business objectives and for managing the portfolio managers in the VUMA team. In addition to assisting with the development and implementation of Guardrisk Life's strategic initiatives, I am also particularly passionate about building trusted relationships with Guardrisk Life's stakeholders, including cell owners, reinsurers, intermediaries and binder holders.

Guardrisk is the largest cell captive insurer and the leading provider of alternative risk transfer solutions in South Africa. products and services to existing and prospective clients and to provide after-sales servicing to existing clients.I'm responsible for marketing Guardrisk Life products to prospective new clients, focusing on third-party risks, e.g. group funeral, credit life, individual life and investment-related products with a view to incepting cell captive structures.In addition, I'm also responsible for growing Guardrisk Life’s existing cell captive stuctures through new distribution models and development of new products.
