I live and breathe video games. I started in my teens as a journalist and editor, and for the last 10+ years, I've been working in various roles in video game marketing at companies like Techland, GOG (part of CD PROJEKT Group), successful indie game developers, publishers, and start-ups. I had the pleasure and honor of defining new brands and working with well-established ones to make them shine to users through new forms and channels of communication. In my work, I'm self-sufficient and consider myself a one-man-army but I can also be a team player and project leader thanks to my organizational skills and attention to detail.Projects that I led at GOG in recent years include introducing the Polish language version of the GOG platform (store and app), dozens of seasonal store events (Black Friday, Summer Sale, Warhammer Skulls, etc.), offline events, and key game releases. I planned and executed GOG's marketing campaigns for classic games like Blade Runner, Metal Gear Solid, and Silent Hill, as well as big new releases like Horizon Zero Dawn. I ran GOG's content marketing campaign for Cyberpunk 2077 and had my input in many more. During my time at the company and when I was responsible for the global communication of the GOG.COM store, our team recorded the best years ever in terms of growth, reach, and sales, including +208% growth of active users, +392% growth of new user registrations, and +114% growth in net revenue in 2020 alone. At Retrovibe, I lead the marketing strategy and execution for a catalog of indie titles. In just over 1 year we released 3 games, attended 16 digital events, revealed new titles, ran successful sales, collaborated with John Romero on a PC Big Box release and promotional videos, and many more exciting and creatively fulfilling projects.
