I believe in empowering data democracy in every company. By building organization-wide data literacy and constructing clear data sets, BI tools can be as easy as a Google Search. I've been an analyst at two startups, seeing their successful exits through acquisitions by Google and Autodesk.I've leveraged incredibly unique datasets to add insight on product offerings and market direction. I create and design data stories for PR stories that get picked up by major publications like Quartz, Techcrunch, Vox, etc. I also help automate data processes using a mix of Python and SQL scripting.I like piecing together projects that will help other people live their best life (or at least minimize headaches.) I have a natural affinity towards nimble but responsive teams where I can find ways to make the project fun for everyone and build a team culture where everyone can feel like their opinion is heard. When I'm not tinkering with data and visualizations, you'll find me studying horticulture, surfing, messing with photography, going on hikes, and making people laugh.
