Distributed, organic and agile organizations are far from being perfect. Yet I see them as the only form of organization capable of being self-learning and constantly adapting to the complexity of today's world. Building an organization around the people, the authority and leadership that naturally emerges is much more efficient than plopping a management structure on top it to control and optimize productivity. My experience in bringing this model to small and medium sized businesses, government agencies and non-profit shows me that this is a future-proof and very resilient approach. Listening and emergence were the roots of the co-creation of Paradigm21 in 2018. At that time, I had been experimenting for two years with a distributed organization and made every single mistake possible. I was invited to create a training for the EMBA program of HEG-Arc on distributed organizations. It was a success, but it only started to feel complete after a dozen of iterations of two day trainings in different cites of Switzerland. Requests for coaching organizations came naturally and I have been working on transforming the culture and structure of organizations since 2018. The team of Paradigm21 grew and when COVID hit us, we dedicated all of our energy to the creation of an online blended-learning training academy. In 2018, I also co-founded the "hub neuchatel", a non-profit coworking space with the purpose of creating social and environmental impact. In 2019 we launched the IMPACTEUR platform that now has many programs ranging from training and incubating social entrepreneurship to training people to get back into the job market. Before that, I had a classic career in business. I worked in the high tech field since 1997 and had the chance to live 4 years in the USA, working in the Silicon Valley. After returning to Switzerland, I held different positions from sales manager to director of a sales organization in both local and international companies. In 2016, I realized I wanted to dedicate my life and career to meaningful endeavors and started looking for purpose. That's when I chose to become a social entrepreneur. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, a Masters in Business and Administration, and in 2017 I trained as a Professional Coach.
