I have been working with high end custom electronics since the late 80’s; first as just an expensive hobby, later to become much more than that. In 1992, I earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Central Florida. Pairing my hobby with my business background, I embarked on what would become my life’s passion spending most of the 90’s as the General Manager of a well known Florida based high end electronics retailer. After merging with a national chain, their customer service and installation quality suffered. I then decided it was time to move on. So, I found a new home with a small South Florida systems integration company as the Director of Sales for several years. Riding the Real Estate boom, the company more than doubled in size and revenue under my tenure. However, after shifting their focus abroad and away from custom solutions, I had to do things my own way. At that point, the only way to do this was to start my own company.Intelligent Design is the consummation of my years of experience, expertise, and the yearning to do things better than the rest. My experience in both the corporate retail and contractor environments has provided me a solid and diverse foundation in sales, system design, installation, project management, and customer service. Quality, Value, Simplicity, and Integrity are the principles on which we are founded.
