With a solid foundation in Geological Sciences and early experience in Applied Geology, I discovered my true passion in Cartography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Since 2000, I have immersed myself in the fascinating world of maps, first working with established map companies until 2013, then embarking on an exciting journey as a freelance map maker, specializing in hiking trails and outdoor maps for both web and print.In 2017, I co-founded Webmapp, an innovative start-up dedicated to delivering cutting-edge web and mobile mapping solutions for outdoor enthusiasts. While I have since moved on from the company, I remain deeply involved in the cartographic sector, contributing my expertise to transformative mapping projects.A proud and active contributor to OpenStreetMap since 2010, I am passionate about open data and collaborative mapping. Over the years, I have organized numerous workshops and mapping parties, sharing my knowledge and fostering a community of mappers.Additionally, I bring hands-on experience in GPS surveying and the development of new hiking trail networks, with a strong focus on projects in Tuscany.
