● Lead author of “Railcar Wheel Impact Detection Utilizing Vibration-Based Wireless On-board Monitoring Modules”● Counsel Hum Industrial in the evaluation and development of their wireless rolling stock health monitoring modules by leading the investigation on the efficacy of their sensor in detecting defective railcar wheels with the employment of bearing testing rigs, impact systems, and vibration analysis of empirical data● Assembled 120 Hum Industrial prototypes for pilot tests. Responsible for monitoring the data output of all the devices to construct correlations between experimental and field data.● Perform team-oriented teardowns and setups of railcar single bearing and four bearing testing rigs to execute mechanical diagnostics, maintenance, troubleshooting, and design corrections. ● Maintain and assemble accelerometers as well as other electronic components necessary for the bearing condition monitoring of testing rig setups to ensure the quality and reliability of data acquisition essential to other team members.
