Since 1984 I have been playing executive roles at Cambiaso Risso and, starting 2008, I am Chairman of the Group.After a period of study and work in London and Paris, in 1974 I came back to Genoa to run the family business, starting the activity of marine insurance brokerage. The history of Cambiaso Risso, which I have the luck and the privilege to represent, is well described in the book "The sea will always be there", published in 2020.The company celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2016 although the activities of our founders date back to the end of 19th century. Cambiaso Risso started in 1946 with 5 employees, today 283 people of 14 nationalities work in 19 offices around the world. My role within the group combines the activity of broker with the one of entrepreneur, with the aim of growing the company, consolidating relationships with clients and encouraging new generations to expand the business in respect of our traditional values.The company that I lead with passion and commitment, in partnership with the CEO and friend Mauro Iguera, is based on a well-defined entrepreneurial philosophy that balances the profit with internationalization, education, social commitment and the attitude to anticipate the future through the enhancement of the most precious asset of a company: human resources.I love the sea, football, music, playing tennis and spending time with my family and my beautiful granddaughters.
