Program And Project Support (Diwasekii)
CurrentWith around 60,000 users at the 39 cantonal secondary and vocational schools (schools Sek II), the upper secondary level is one of the largest groups of users of IT systems in the canton of Zurich. Since the 1990s, the development and expansion of information and communication technology (ICT) in secondary schools in the canton of Zurich has taken place at different speeds. For ICT structures to develop quickly and efficiently in the future, they need to be standardised and coordinated. The aim of the program is to provide upper secondary schools with a modern IT infrastructure, central IT support and a comprehensive approach to teacher training in the use of digital technologies. The program also aims to develop new forms of teaching and learning using digital tools. Each school will have its own migration project, starting with an analysis of the current state, and the migration of the school into the structure envisaged for the future.
