Marco Arnone, M.Sc. Econ Warwick U. (UK) and a Ph.D. Econ Pavia U. (Italy), was visiting scholar at Stanford University S.I.T.E. (USA) in 1996, with an American Study and Student Exchange Committee scholarship, and in 1999. He has worked as an economist in the Monetary and Financial Systems Department and the African Department at the International Monetary Fund, in countries such as Peru, Croatia, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Kenya, Zambia, Angola, Mozambique, Lesotho. Dr. Arnone has taught at the Catholic University of Milan, the University of Milan, and the University of Eastern Piedmont. He has published on issues ranging from anti-money laundering & corruption to development finance, banking and central banking issues.
