DARPA Security & Intelligence Directorate

- Supported multi-million dollar SAP and SCI programs associated with Government contracts in accordance with NISPOM, NISPOM 1-104a, ICD standards, JAFAN 6/0 Rev 1, DoD Manual 5200.1-R, Vol 1-4, DoD Manual 5220.22M, DoD Manual 5205.07 V1-4., and internal /corporate policies and procedures.- Primary responsibilities included interfacing closely with cognizant government program offices of multiple agencies while managing all security aspects of SAP/SCI programs ranging in size and complexity. COMSEC Manager.

- Briefed senior leaders and functional offices regarding current security issues, concerns and initiatives as well as the implementation of future policies in efforts to adapt to an ever changing technological community.- Inspected and verified all security disciplines complied with regulatory and statutory requirements across the DoD. Reviewed and provided corrective action plans; improved programs and ensured security met mission needs/requirements.- Led, coordinated and authored Security Managers brief; successfully integrated Information, Industrial, Personnel and Physical security processes into a holistic security program in direct support of POTUS.- Managed investigations for civilian and government contract personnel. Ensured 11K contractors and 1K escort personnel were thoroughly briefed on security requirements; resulted in successful completion of over $500M in contract work with zero security incidents.- Base Security Officer (BSO) for Joint Base Andrews overseeing entire Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) program. Established perimeter access programs to ensure proper vetting and identification of all personnel attempting to enter the installation by maintaining optimal operability of access control workstations, enrollment sites, and handheld scanners.- Planned and directed the administration and activities of staff, including performance evaluations, professional career development, staff scheduling, and personnel counseling and guidance.

- Led, managed, and supervised the preparation of threat assessments and application of security measures to safeguard and protect the U.S. President, U.S. Vice President, U.S. government representatives, foreign leaders, installation resources, facilities, and personnel. - Provided highly accurate offensive and defensive capabilities to ensure the safety of 50 tenant organizations, 40K+ personnel, and $1B in DOD equipment and assets to include Air Force One and Navy/Air Force fighter and cargo aircraft. - Critically analyzed security incidents and complaint reports and provided detailed briefing of findings to senior leadership; assisted in planning future security operation processes and procedures.- Provided insight, guidance, and assistance to senior leadership for the planning, coordination, development, and delivery of an aggressive security program.

- Provided security enforcement by rapidly resolving crisis situations, upholding law and order, and protecting the property and lives of more than 57K civilian and military personnel working and residing in government facilities located within a 1.1K square mile protected area in the region. - Led, managed, and performed routine patrols of military facilities, restricted areas, and executed anti-robbery procedures for 115 alarmed areas. Ensured security for $523M in equipment and supplies.- Organized, trained, and supervised 31 personnel in airfield defense in order to participate in 30 joint training exercises to simulate defense measures in protection of facilities and personnel.- Led and completed 21 off base operations safeguarding local community and US Military personnel; ensured 100% mission success.- Planned, organized and directed fire team operations for “Max Thunder,” the largest flying exercise in the Republic of South Korea. Secured 2.1k personnel and 96 aircraft.- Established professional working relationships with South Korean nationals, ROK military and senior leaders at Wing, MAJCOM, and group levels.
