Rebate Program Assistant
Current- Successfully support daily interconnection activities, such as performing initial review of rebate applications and rebate processing, of more than 80 ongoing Commercial EV projects requesting over $1 million in incentives with the utilization of SAP DSM and PowerClerk.- Regularly collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot, design and implement software enhancements of the Commercial EV program rebate platform, PowerClerk.- Work jointly on a regular basis with SMUD’s LCFS Program Manager to initiate registration of LCFS credits with CARB (California Air Resources Board) on behalf of SMUD and Commercial EV rebate program participants.- Assist management staff to train incoming program manager and other staff members. - Conduct regular inspection and testing of newly installed EVSE at participating business customer sites with the coordination of the Program Managers to ensure the installed EV charging equipment works properly and detect/solve possible equipment failure.- Through the utilization of Itron, SAP DSM, and MS Excel, Outlook and SharePoint, administer the daily intake, tracking, filing and distribution of more than 200 yearly transformer capacity assessments required for the successful completion of electrification and energy efficiency projects and EVSE installations which are vital to SMUD reaching its 2030 Zero Carbon Plan that aims to reduce the carbon footprint in the Sacramento region.- Attend/complete yearly seminar/trainings, including Clean Power Research’s yearly virtual Reflow conference, to keep up-to-date with interconnection best practices from numerous utilities across the US.
