JTF-SD is one of two subordinate functional commands to the United States Space Command, with a mission to conduct space superiority operations alongside mission partners to deter aggression, defend space capability, and when directed, defeat adversaries throughout the continuum of conflict. In this mission, I lead the Division to plan, organize, develop, coordinate, and assist in the execution of intelligence planning activities of JTF-SD operations. I am also responsible to lead deliberate and contingency planning, functional plan validation, coordination, and integration in conjunction with higher headquarters, components, DoD, and USG Interagency. In March 2022, I was also appointed as the Chief of Intelligence Operations and Plans at the newest US SpaceCom Component, Combined Joint Task Force - Space Operations (CJTF-SO) to lead the nascent efforts at establishing a 3-star combined space operations component.

The Afghanistan Threat Finance Cell was a multi-agency organization whose purpose was to neutralize Afghan insurgence funding and financing networks by providing threat finance expertise and time sensitive intelligence to U.S. civilian and military leaders. Responsible for the daily operations and production output of the Strategic Analysis Unit, a team of 17 financial and intelligence analysts creating in-depth, detailed analytical products – both graphical and written – to inform and influence senior U.S. military and diplomatic leadership to safeguard against Afghan corruption and insurgent financing. Information led to the detention and prosecution of nine corrupt financiers.
