I have consistently jumped for what it is that I want. If I do not feel like a situation is helping me grow as an individual and as a team player, I change my situation. I have studied a variety of subjects at each of the four Brigham Young University campuses (Hawaii, Idaho, Provo, and Salt Lake); all of which have helped me hone in on my true passions and brightest skills, which currently include:- Fundraising- Technical communication and writing- Event planning- Multimedia marketing- Donor and client relationsI have loved (almost) every second of my educational career and am so grateful for the opportunities that I have had to study in six different countries, and focus on:- Public administration- Public relations- Persuasive and professional writing- International affairs- English literature and compositionThe diversity of perspectives and topics that have been included in the education that I have already received by this time (roughly halfway through my baccalaureate coursework) has granted me the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully work in an equally diverse array of positions, including:- Oral surgery assistant- Medical and clinical assistant- Junior fundraiser- Administrative assistantMy current job at Mothers Without Borders has been a perfect fit for me as it feels like a hands-on class each and every day. I am constantly faced with challenges and circumstances that are new to me and given the opportunity to tackle them with the knowledge that I do have. I never stop learning and I plan on continuing that way for the rest of my life.
