At Mothers Without Borders, our mission is to protect the vulnerable and empower the marginalized. We currently work in Zambia where we value local wisdom as we work together to protect, educate, and empower those we serve. We seek to empower everyone touched by our work, both inside Zambia and out.
Through our programs in Lusaka, Zambia, we serve hundreds of children by providing them with food, housing, education, mentoring, and job skills. Currently, we offer primary school to over 850 students and have helped an additional 62 students pursue higher education and training. Additionally, 300+ local women and young girls are offered literacy and business skills training that empowers them to live a happy and healthy life.
In order to increase global awareness, we also take about 120 humanitarian volunteers to Zambia with us every year to assist in this work while participating in personal growth experiences.
