I work with sales and talk to customers (both existing and new) to help design solutions based around their current and future information technology needs. I design solutions that center around server architecture and roles, backup (both local and DRaaS), networking (both full stack and wireless - indoor and outdoor), cyber security, helpdesk, auxiliary applications and more.Whatever the customer's business initiatives are, we can fill any gap with our extensive product catalogue.

1. Design and implement server and security solutions for on-premise headquarters as well as a datacenter in Los Angeles.2. Work with remote engineers to facilitate connections for HL7 traffic.3. Assist with internal server structure including Linux CentOS, Ubuntu, and Windows OS.4. Created and maintained Graylog log aggregation for reporting to multiple teams via SMTP email alerting.5. Worked and helped with internal HelpDesk and systems administrators as necessary, providing guidance for challenging issues and working on project initiatives.

Network Administration roles include:1. Work with the ESX virtual host environment.2. Managing/adjusting IT budget to manage cost goals and emergency expenditures.3. Networking, utilizing Cisco 2960S, Cisco 3750G, Cisco 3560 Switches to accomodate all LAN needs and maintenance. This includes programming switches from factory defaults to meet all requirements of workstation/other device needs.4. Phone support, working with PBX and copper terminations to Avaya desktop phones. Management of the Avaya console to push out configurations and confirm functionality.5. Server administration, which includes scheduling and manually implementing critical security and other OS patches to Windows servers, and managing various server roles (Windows terminal server, printserver, fileserver, and other custom applications).6. Various application support including SAP, Kronos time-input system, Microsoft Office (2010, and 2013), Windows 7, Windows XP, Hirsch Velocity badge system, Identicard Identipass badging system, eVault backup technologies, and Microsoft SCEP.7. Network security, which includes working with both in house and external auditors to provide all necessary documentation and onsite assistance for security audits. Also, provide user education to avoid security breaches through web browsing and email that could potentially avert IPS/IDS techniques per DHS standards.8. Complete end user support.

1. Responsibilities under the associate representative role included work with Linux/Unix distributions to troubleshoot custom software for HIS systems. This also included static routing to/from Linux/Unix servers in remote locations to establish VPN and other connectivity through the remote LANs. End user troubleshooting was also a part of the position.2. Network analyst responsibility included building, and supporting VPN tunnels using Cisco ASA 5505 and ASA 5510 devices to facilities connections to remote sites. I was able to demonstrate knowledge of NAT, PAT, VPN, SSH port forwarding, and programming Cisco routers and firewalls to meet customer and onsite needs.3. The PACS/ImageLink analyst role dealt with overall troubleshooting of the medical imaging servers and clients, including extensive work with SQL server. I was able to harness and demonstrate knowledge of the DICOM traffic protocol to communicate with various lab interface devices in this role as well.

College internship, moreover. I was able to get a great "getting the feet wet" type exposure to the enterprise IT world here. I got to work with Windows terminal and printservers, end users (clients at various dental offices and accounting firms),and Sonicwall firewalls. I responded to remote, emergency, and onsite dispatch requests to meet end user needs. This role also allowed me to work extensively with workstation and server hardware on maintenance.
