With 13 years experience in the Manufacturing industry and a background as a time-served Mechanical Engineer, I currently work as a Papermaking Team Leader at Essity, a leading global hygiene and health company. My papermaking journey began as an operator during the recommissioning phase of a paper machine mothballed for a decade, where I played a key role in the restoration process alongside a 45 person team. Throughout my career, I have advanced through all operator roles within the paper mill, accumulating extensive knowledge in process improvement, problem-solving and team leadership. In my current position, I oversee a diverse range of responsibilities including leading daily operation meetings, managing and developing a team of operators and technicians, ensuring production meets set KPIs, addressing quality, safety, mechanical, electrical and process issues. I am committed to upholding standards of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Morale to drive success in the FMCG manufacturing environment.
