As a Research Fellow at the Epidemiology Group, University of Aberdeen, I apply my expertise in epidemiology and psychology to the study of chronic pain and its public health implications. I have over 15 years of experience in epidemiological research, and I hold a PhD (by Publication) in Epidemiology, an MSc in Psychological Research Methods, and a BSc (Hons) Open Degree from The Open University.I am currently working on the CHIPP project, which aims to develop and evaluate public health interventions for chronic pain prevention and management. I have coordinated multiple research studies in this field, including the PACFiND project, and I have published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, such as The Journal of Clinical Investigation, Arthritis Care & Research, and BMJ Open. I have strong skills in data analysis, study design and coordination, statistical modelling, and psychological research methods. I am passionate about advancing the scientific knowledge and improving the quality of life of people living with chronic pain.
