I am a Field application specialist with Sartorius and support Companies, internal teams and projects across the south of the UK with Tangential flow filtration and viral clearance across multiple downstream modalities.Previously I was a Downstream Senior scientist 1 and line manager carrying out Scale down module and pilot scale research from planning to execution to report writing Oxford Biomedica and supporting senior management activities to improve ways of working.I was involved in shaping departmental training processes for staff and departmental safety.In the role before that I was a Biacore specialist for 12 years and worked on characterizing proteins of the immune system, over that time I worked with bacterial culture and mammalian cell culture systems, flow cytometry and FPLC techniques to produce and purify proteins for study. I was the Biacore technical specialist for Allen and Overy representing Eli Lilly.In addition I was also the Laboratory Manager responsible for running a lab of 12 staff.
