As a writer, a multi-instrumentalist and producer, Marcus Brown has been at the creative centre of many of the worlds most prolific artist's sounds. Trained with the Royal School of Music since a mere toddler, Marcus went on to study piano & composition at Durham University and took Jazz studies with the Guildhall honing his arranging and writing skills, which led the early part of his career to move into Film Scoring and T.V. Theme Tunes at the BBC. By his early twenties he had moved into Synth Programming and working with Electronic Music, making him one of the most sought after programmers for sessions and pop albums. His ability to adapt to and understand any creative situation has always been his biggest strength and this reflects boldly in the list of artists who have seen him through their doors. From Ozzy Osbourne to Tina Turner. Madonna to Seal. Annie Lennox to Richard Ashcroft, his talents have been in there. Upon moving to the US in 2000 (to work with Madonna) Marcus rekindled his relationship with scoring and the commercial industry, working along side Stephen Dewey (the founder of Sound Design) at Machinehead where he received a Cleo award for his work with Nike and did scoring for Playstation (Matrix), Budweiser and Sobe. as well as track placements in several major movies and TV shows. Marcus's music has been a regular feature on Malcolm in the Middle and Beverly Hills 90210. Once more showing his creative skill and diversity. More recently Marcus has applied his music editing prowess and digital knowledge to the world of video and live streaming, teaming up with HSVN as their Creative Director and one stop music shop, designing and producing live and pre-recorded shows for their network.
