I am responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the electric construction and/or service crews, and the management of their work in accordance with applicable collective bargaining agreements. Manage overtime.● Coordinate activities with customers, contractors, and other company departments. Monitor to ensure timely completion.● Efficiently utilize company systems related to work tracking, time reporting, and materials management.● Contribute to the development and implementation of division and function goals. Identify and implement improvements in division operations to control costs and improve productivity.

Additionally, am responsible to assure that contractors field supervision enforces all applicable Ameren policy, practices and safety rules.

I was responsible for managing the watch and protect program for Ameren Illinois, which includes coordinating watch and protect activities between the excavators and contract locating companies. I provided technical expertise and monitor the overall performance of the program. I was responsible to ensure safety to Ameren employees, contract locators, excavators, and the public.Key responsibilities include:● Contact excavators when digging activities will be within the specified tolerance of Ameren Illinois facilities identified for watch and protect.● Coordinate watch and protect timeframe between the excavator and contract locate company.● Provide assistance on watch and protect duties, when necessary.● Respond to high profile gas and electric third party damages to determine cause. Provide direction to Ameren personnel and locators in the damage investigation process.● Perform locating audits and assist with claims and billing.● Remove barriers that would prohibit or delay service to the customer.● Work with excavators and Ameren personnel in problem resolution and education on the Illinois Underground Utility Facilities Damage Prevention Act.● Assist in the coordination of excavator meetings for Ameren Illinois which are held annually throughout Ameren territory. Provide presentations and educational materials on underground safety and the state laws to the excavators.● Meet monthly with locate contractor management team to monitor performance, resolve issues and pursue opportunities for improvement.● Serve as the contact person for difficult to locate facilities and assist in resolving the locate issue.

Lead safety case management (tactical support for injuries). Administer USIC Institute (LMS) for assigned districts. Maintain records and train/ensure sufficient OQ evaluations. Lead EHS incident investigation root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action planning. Support district quality and job site safety by performing analysis, field audits and safety inspections. Oversee new technician training plan (scheduling, facility and equipment readiness, coaches, certifications)

Supervise assigned locators in a defined geographic territory. Locate and mark underground utility lines. Maintain positive employee, client, and public relations.

Travel to assigned work sites to utilize various locating and troubleshooting techniques to identify and verify underground facilities at the work sites, take appropriate pictures, and complete related paperwork. Collaborate with contractors to ensure damage free excavations.

Responsible for the training of 60 Infantry Soldiers in all phases of training; supports the Infantry and OSUT POI and conducts classes on a variety of Infantry subjects; ensures each assigned Soldier's training record is properly maintained; conducts situational training exercises during a seven day FTX; assists in the execution of all training; responsible for the accountability and maintenance of equipment valued in excess of $75,000.
