Exactmer is an Imperial College spin out with focus on specialty chemicals through a patented nanostar sieving technology, making use of iterative liquid phase chemistry coupled to membrane purification to create polymers of outstanding purity. Exactmer currently supplies unimolecular polyethylene glycols (PEGS) up to 5kDa, and is exploring the production of oligonucleotides and peptides.

EPSRC funded position working in collaboration with a spin-out company, Exactmer, from the Livingston research labs. Primary focus is on membrane and process development for the Nanostar Sieving technology for Oligonucleotide Manufacture

Lab based development of speciality methacrylate monomers and PAG based lubricants

Worked on developing a new generation of Geosynthetic Cementitous Composite Mat (GCCM). Tasks included procuring equipment, commissioning machinery, analysing materials, and optimising manufacturing conditions.

Teaching undergraduate students in the teaching laboratories in the chemical engineering department. Experiments taught include membrane separation, spray drying, thermodynamics, and flow measurement devices.
