I have worked in the retail industry since I was in High School, working my way into management. I have a real desire to help others and I enjoy working with customers and co-workers.Most of my past experience extends to the Wal-Mart stores where I worked nearly 5 1/2 years starting as a cart-pusher. After a short time, I promoted into management and became an Assistant Manager. I also worked on the store-remodel crew for about 5 months setting new fixtures and organizing for grand re-opening and ran the used fixture warehouse. More recently, I have worked for Westlake Hardware where I began working for the company at the Blue Springs South Store when it was preparing to open. I helped with Set-Up and Grand Opening and eventually promoted to Floor Manager.I look forward to new and exciting opportunities within the company as they continue to grow.Specialties: Safety Team - Educate employees on safety practices and OSHA compliance.Loss Prevention - Control areas of shrink through enforcing proper receiving practices, controlling internal and external theft.
